This leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational functions supporting financial markets products and services, ensuring effective risk management, regulatory compliance, operational excellence and exceptional stakeholder outcomes.
Working closely with Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Technology and external counterparties, you will play a key role in driving operational performance, managing change initiatives and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and mentor a team operating within a financial markets environment
- Oversee daily operational activities across a range of markets and post-trade functions
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, lifecycle events and operational controls
- Manage operational risk, incidents, escalations and issue resolution
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes, controls and client outcomes
- Support the implementation of new products, systems and regulatory initiatives
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the function
- Monitor adherence to regulatory obligations, internal policies and governance frameworks
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, counterparties, custodians, exchanges and service providers
- Produce management reporting, operational analysis and insights for senior leadership
- Participate in strategic projects and business transformation initiatives
- Ensure appropriate business continuity, operational resilience and risk management practices are maintained
You will be an experienced operations leader with strong exposure to financial markets products and post-trade environments.
