This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience across investment operations, trade processing, settlements, reconciliations and portfolio administration, looking to take ownership of the day-to-day operational requirements.
The Role
- Manage day-to-day investment operations across multiple investment portfolios
- Process and oversee investment trades, settlements and cash movements
- Perform daily reconciliations across portfolios, cash, holdings and transactions
- Investigate and resolve operational breaks and discrepancies
- Coordinate settlement activities with brokers, custodians, fund administrators and other counterparties
- Process corporate actions, distributions and other investment-related events
- Maintain accurate portfolio, transaction and investment data
- Support portfolio rebalancing and ensure transactions are processed accurately
- Assist with operational reporting and investment data analysis
- Work closely with investment, finance, compliance and other internal teams
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, controls and efficiencies
- Support operational projects, system enhancements and process improvements
- Ensure all activities are completed accurately and in line with relevant policies and controls
You will bring:
- Strong understanding of the investment trade lifecycle
- Experience with settlements, reconciliations and corporate actions
- Exposure to investment portfolios and financial markets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies
- Good Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving
- Experience working with brokers, custodians, fund administrators or investment managers
