Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of enterprise risk frameworks and governance structures
- Maintain and oversee risk registers, controls, and reporting processes
- Partner with business units to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and strategic risks
- Provide clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership and governance forums
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation activities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
- Facilitate risk workshops, training, and awareness initiatives
- Act as a key liaison between first line business teams and second line risk/compliance functions
- Proven experience in a Risk Lead / Senior Risk Manager capacity
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, governance, and controls
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Experience in risk transformation, uplift, or embedding risk culture (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into business outcomes
