As a senior career para planner within this group, you will be immediately challenged with complex and interesting work. You will work very closely with the National Financial Planning advisor base, assisting them with the simple and more complex statements of advice. You will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of complex financial plans encompassing all aspects of HNW financial strategy.
The client is keen to meet with candidates who are:
- Career / Client / service focused,
- Draft the documentation of strategic and financial advice through compliant and accurate SOAs.
- Maintain compliance within all correspondence and Statements of Advice.
- Maintain a strong technical knowledge and resourcefulness in sourcing technical and strategic information.
- Conduct research on various superannuation, insurance and investment products, including listed and unlisted.
- Maintain knowledge on legislation in relation to all aspects of Financial Planning, including, but not limited to superannuation, social security, insurance and taxation.
- Maintain and acquire knowledge of latest financial planning strategies to ensure the ongoing advice to clients is suitable.
- Overlook and assist adviser assistants with implementation of financial planning strategies, including but not limited to super rollover / establishment, insurance implementation and social security.
- Assist advisers with ongoing queries and analysis in relation to client’s account (including but not limited to superannuation, tax implications, social security, estate planning and cashflow modelling).
- Provide additional assistance to the department and other departments on an as required basis.
- Complete all allocated training courses and/or programs to ensure compliance with internal company policy, and any external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with BDM for various products available on our approved products list.
Specifics:
- RG146 in all financial planning related specialisations, degree qualified
- A minimum of at least 2 years of Paraplanning experience
• Advance skills using Microsoft Office and Xplan Software - Self Starter and positive professional approach
