This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the regional middle office strategy driving intraday, multi-asset investment data solutions across Asia-Pacific markets. You’ll operate at the intersection of operations, data, technology, and client delivery, building a robust and scalable front to back investment platform.
Key Responsibilities Strategy and Regional Leadership
- Own and deliver the APAC middle office vision, roadmap, and operating model
- Define intraday service levels across asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, alternatives)
- Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and executive reporting
- Lead middle office data model design including positions, cash, valuations, and corporate actions
- Oversee integrations across OMS, accounting platforms, custody, and market data providers
- Partner with technology teams to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions
- Design and maintain robust control frameworks (reconciliations, exception management, data quality)
- Drive continuous improvement in intraday processing, accuracy, and automation
- Ensure audit readiness and strong operational resilience
- Shape the regional client proposition including SLAs and onboarding models
- Support go to market strategy, pricing, and complex client solutions
- Lead client governance and service performance reviews
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements across APAC markets
- Maintain documentation, controls, and audit frameworks
- Build and lead high-performing regional teams
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across operations, technology, product, and risk
- Foster a strong, inclusive, and delivery-focused culture
- 15–20 years’ experience in asset servicing, investment operations, or investment data platforms
- Deep expertise in middle office (IBOR or closely related front-to-back data environments)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programs
- Strong understanding of APAC market structures and investment operations
- Experience across OMS, accounting platforms, and data architecture
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership capability
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications advantageous
