As the Team Leader you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the portfolio administration division. Our client is keen to meet with professionals who have a strong focus on operational change, delivery and staff development.
Other core requirements are:
- Provide positive support and guidance to the 5 team members.
- Ensuring all matters are handled in a timely and compliant manner.
- Main go to point for all escalated issues.
- All staff training and development
- Take personal ownership of the team’s daily operations to achieve desired business outcomes
- Account cost-base reconstructions.
- Reconciliations of client holdings, including equities, cash, and other asset types.
- Periodic client reporting, including annual tax reporting, from generation through to distribution.
- Provide support to other areas within the team in times of increased workload.
- Ad-hoc payment processing.
- Overall management of corporate action events.
- Processing of corporate actions payments on behalf of clients.
- Reconciling holdings post corporate action completion.
- Processing & reconciling dividends and distributions.
This is an ideal role for a senior operations professional who is looking to expand their career into a formal leadership role or an existing leader looking for a new opportunity to add value. Having a strong knowledge across administration platforms, tax reporting, corporate actions processing, equity markets, managed funds, and other asset types are required. Prior experience working with Iress (IPS) and the Microsoft suite of products is desired.
